The service at Arcwood is the worst I have ever received. The staff is condescending and unprofessional. The woman, who claimed to be the owner, ordered the WRONG crown moulding for us. We brought in a sample of exactly what we needed and she ordered us something completely different. We then brought back the incorrect moulding and left the it at the store, because it was unusable and she is refusing to reimburse our money. Rather than just admitting that she ordered the wrong item and reimbursing our money, she laughed and said that I should dispute it on my credit card and to go ahead and write a bad review. The owner also finds it funny that I would be upset with such a small amount as $40 -- It is not about the amount. It is the principal. If you depend on an expert to order something for you and they order the wrong merchandise - I should not have to be stuck with it or pay for it! No matter how much money it was ... it was their mistake. And THANK GOD it wasn't a bigger order. If we had ordered more, this would be much worse. I expect that when I go into a store with a sample, if they can't find something similar, they would just say so. This is not the kind of customer service that I would expect from anyone. Please don't give these people your business!
